This 1 seems 2 overheat extremely fast on the lowest setting. I bought this 1 because my old 1 had started overheating like 6 months after I bought it. This 1 overheated from the very 1st use. U can barely touch it after hitting it once or twice on the lowest setting. I don't think that's normal. I dunno. It does heat evenly n I like the 20 second preheat option. I don't rly think the terp balls made much of a difference tho. I don't rly like them 2 much. But I love the quality of the quarts glass cup. And that it comes with all the necessary tools. It's rly easy 2 clean. Just put a drop or 2 of rubbing alcohol in the cup n use a q tip 2 get it clean. Let it air dry n then when it's dry hit the preheat button 2 burn ne fuzz off from the qtip. Or quick clean it with a rubbing alcohol wipe. I wrap it around 1 if the tools n wipe it out gently in between uses. N u can make a glass cup last 4vor 4 months. Make sure u clean the globe by soaking it or wiping it with rubbing alcohol n air drying 2.
